President Petro Poroshenko will introduce the European Union (EU) Association Agreement to the Verkhovna Rada (Supreme Council; parliament) of Ukraine on September 16.

Rada Chairman Oleksandr Turchynov informed the aforesaid, reported the Ukrainian parliament press service. 

As per Turchynov, there will be no delays associated with the validation of this agreement.  

“President Poroshenko has clarified that he has come to an agreement with the European Parliament on a simultaneous validation. In any case, we have no right to further delay ratification,” Oleksandr Turchynov stressed.
