YEREVAN. – In the last meeting of the four non-government National Assembly (NA) factions (Armenian National Congress, Prosperous Armenia, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, and Heritage), it was recorded that there is a key problem on the matter of Constitutional amendments, but it was decided that the cooperation will continue in all other matters, and we should be maximum polite to each other.

ARF NA Faction Secretary Aghvan Vardanyan noted the aforementioned at a press conference on Friday.

Commenting on the fact that some media outlets attempt to label ARF after its decision not to participate in the opposition rally slated for October 10, Vardanyan said that they were expecting such reactions.

“But we are confident in our decisions,” he added.

As for the reasons for the ARF’s aforesaid decision, Aghvan Vardanyan noted that the forthcoming rally definitely will reflect on the proposed Constitutional reforms, which the ARF favors, whereas the other three non-government parliamentary forces oppose.
