Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, who is participating in the 69th Session of the UN General Assembly as part of the Armenia President-led delegation, met, on Tuesday in New York City, with OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Igor Popov, Pierre Andrieu and James Warlick, and Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office.    

Subsequently, the meeting continued with attendance by Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mammadyarov. 

The ministers and the co-chairs continued the discussions on finding a pacific settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The Minsk Group co-chairs reaffirmed their resolve to use joint efforts to achieve solely a peaceful settlement of the conflict.    

They also conferred on the preparations for the Armenia and the Azerbaijan presidents’ forthcoming meeting which will be held in Paris, and at the initiative of the French president.     

In addition, the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs informed about their wish to visit the region in October.
