YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s (USD) exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 406.80/$1 in Armenia on Wednesday, and this makes for an AMD 0.18 drop from Tuesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 522.62 (down by AMD 2.06), that of one British pound was AMD 667.27 (up by AMD 0.23), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 10.61 (up by AMD 0.05), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 234.37, AMD 15,982.44, and AMD 17,486.52, respectively.

Wednesday’s trading totaled USD 1 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 407/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 407.23/$1.
