The diplomatic sources of Armenian News-NEWS.am have informed that the Armenian and the Serbian FMs’ joint news conference, which was held Thursday in the Serbia’s capital city of Belgrade, included unpleasant statements for Azerbaijan.

Announcing about the Serbian government’s plans to open an embassy in the Armenian capital city of Yerevan, Ivica Dačić, the First Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, said that the founding—at the time—of Serbia’s diplomatic representation solely in Azerbaijan had the wrong political message.

In turn, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian presented to the Serbian journalists—and with detailed facts—Azerbaijan’s destructive and provocative policy in connection with the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process.

Our sources also report that Nalbandian’s statement, according to which Armenia’s position on Kosovo is unchanged, was appreciatively accepted by the Serbian authorities.
