Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned that an escaped convict in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan was caught on Saturday.
As a result of Armenian and Georgian police cooperation, the prisoner was found in Georgia.
Suren Gabrielyan, 59, an inmate at the Nubarashen Prison in Yerevan, had escaped from the city’s Nork Infection Hospital on September 16.
The Police press service had informed that Gabrielyan is charged with several articles of the Criminal Code, and he was declared wanted.
