YEREVAN. – Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian on Monday received Kazakhstan First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Rapil Zhoshybayev, who is also Commissioner of the EXPO-2017 international exhibition, which Astana will host.

Zhoshybayev expressed gratitude to Nalbandian for Armenia’s assistance in organizing the EXPO-2017 in the Kazakh capital city.

In the ensuing talk, the interlocutors reflected on the ongoing efforts to develop Armenian-Kazakh relations, mutual visits, the invigoration of interparliamentary contacts, and the activities of the Armenia-Kazakhstan Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.

The both parties also expressed confidence that Armenia’s forthcoming Eurasian Economic Union accession will create new opportunities for the expansion of bilateral cooperation.
