YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s (USD) exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 409.46/$1 in Armenia on Tuesday, a 0.98 increase as compared with Monday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 515.76 (up by AMD 3.40), that of one British pound was AMD 657.10 (up by AMD 4.14), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 10.26 (up by AMD 0.04), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 222.87, AMD 15,693.86 , and AMD 16,403.04 respectively.

No foreign currency transactions were registered at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Tuesday.
