Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian, who on Tuesday arrived in Paris on a working visit, met with his French colleague, Laurent Fabius.
The Nagorno-Karabakh peace process was on the agenda of their talks.
Highly appreciating the constructive engagement by France and the other OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries (Russia and the US), Nalbandian underscored their joint efforts to achieve a solely pacific resolution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Nalbandian and Fabius also discussed the preparations for the Armenian and the Azerbaijani presidents’ meeting, which is slated for late October in Paris, at the initiative of the President of France.
In this context, Edward Nalbandian reaffirmed Armenia’s willingness to continue working together with the Minsk Group co-chairing countries, and toward resolving the conflict.
The Armenian and the French FMs also recorded that bilateral relations are at a high level.
In addition, the interlocutors conferred on several pressing regional and international issues.
