YEREVAN. – Armenia's Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan on Wednesday received the delegation headed by Macedonian Minister of local self government Lirim Shabani that has arrived to participate in the international conference organized by UN.

Deputy PM welcomed the delegation's visit, saying that Armenia attaches importance to the development of relations with Eastern European countries. Gevorgyan noted importance of such visits in terms of creation of new opportunities.

The sides noted that both countries are in the phase of active development and underscored importance of cooperation and exchange of experience on self-governance, territorial administration and other sectors, as well as cooperation within European agencies.

The guests briefed Deputy Prime Minister on their experience in decentralization, administrative structure and development programs.
