YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s (USD) exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 412.06/$1 in Armenia on Tuesday, and this makes for an AMD 0.45 drop from Monday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 521.21 (down by AMD 1.89), that of one British pound was AMD 657.32 (down by AMD 6.53), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 10.10 (down by AMD 0.11), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 230.65, AMD 16,281.84, and AMD 16,652.78, respectively.

Tuesday’s trading totaled USD 950,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 411/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 411/$1.
