The border guards of CIS countries have launched an e-system of information exchange on situation on the borders, Russian official said.

The decision to create an e-system was made by the Council of the CIS heads of states, TASS reported.

The system is already working in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia and Tajikistan, Colonel General Alexander Manilov said. The issue of launching system in Uzbekistan is being discussed.

It enables to exchange information about situation on the external borders in real time.
