GYUMRI. – Armenia’s Gyumri Day celebration will be held on Saturday, and several events are planned on that day, the Gyumri Municipality press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.  

Also along the lines of these celebrations, Mayor Samvel Balasanyan will award cash prizes to newly-crowned World Greco-Roman Wrestling Champions Arsen Julfalakyan and Artur Aleksanyan. 

The Gyumri Day celebrations were to be held on October 5, but they were put off due to adverse weather conditions.

It is yet unknown which senior officials will take part in the festivities.
