YEREVAN. – The domestic political situation in Armenia has been stable, and it will continue in the same fashion after October 24, too.
Ruling Republican Party of Armenia National Assembly (RPA NA) Faction member Artak Davtyan expressed such a view at a press conference on Thursday, commenting on Friday’s joint rally to be staged by the three non-government NA factions (Armenian National Congress, Prosperous Armenia, and Heritage).
“October 25 will come after October 24. I don’t think that the opposition will cross the line, and the line is what is drawn by the law.
“They [, the ‘parliamentary trio,’] are making statements; all this will be within the working law.
“The police and the rally organizers will be at the top of their game on October 24, too,” the RPA MP specifically noted.
Friday’s rally will be held at Liberty Square in capital city Yerevan.
