An Armenian cross-stone-monument has been unveiled Sunday in remote Mamzara village of Javakhk—Georgian name: Javakheti, which is a predominantly-Armenian-populated part of Georgia’s southeastern Samtskhe-Javakheti Province.

The event was held within the framework of the centenary of the Armenian Genocide.

On that day, the village marked the one-year anniversary of its St. Mesrop Mashtots Church, informed the press service of the Vicariate of Javakhk of the Georgian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church.  

The village church was built and consecrated last year.
