YEREVAN. – The OSCE Minsk Group will be informed about the results of examination and investigation on the Karabakh armed forces helicopter destroyed by Azerbaijan, Armenian Defense Minister Artsrun Hovhannisyan told reporters.

He recalled that during a special operation at the crash site, flight data recorders were found and were submitted to the examination. The Minsk Group will be informed about the results.

The Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire and shot down an NKR Air Force helicopter on November 12. After the helicopter fell in neutral territory, Azerbaijani side continued shelling, not to permit access to the representatives of Armenia and NKR, as well as international organizations on behalf of OSCE and ICRC.

Taking into account, Azerbaijani authorities' refusal to let anyone close to the helicopter, the NKR Defense Army command decided to conduct a special operation. The body of one pilot and remains of two others, as well as pieces of fuselage have been removed.
