YEREVAN. – The Rescue Service of Armenia received a call on Sunday at 11:04pm.

Accordingly, a road accident had occurred in capital city Yerevan, there were affected, and rescuers were needed.

A rescue team and a firefighting squad were dispatched to the scene.

It was found out that an Opel—with driver S. Kh., born in 1979—and a VAZ 2107-model vehicle—with driver A. I., born in 1978—had crashed.

The fire and rescue workers removed VAZ 2107’s driver and passenger G. I., who was born in 1958.

The injured were transferred to hospital where, however, driver A. I. and passenger G. I. lost their lives, whereas S. Kh. is in the intensive care unit.
