YEREVAN. – All of Armenia’s roads are primarily drivable as of Monday at 9am, reported the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations.
The Sotk-Karvachar motorway, however, is difficult to pass.
In addition, there is fog in the Aragatsotn Region and the Goris-Kapan Highway, and there is a light snowfall in Talin city and the Vardenyats (Selim) Mountain Pass.
The road crews are scattering salt and sand on the motorways to ensure safe travel.
The ministry advises drivers to use winter tires and to travel along the aforesaid locations solely when absolutely necessary.
And according to the information received from the Emergency Situations Department of Georgia, the country’s Stepantsminda-Larsi Highway, which leads to the Armenian border, is open for all vehicles with chained wheels.
