On July 7, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze, AzerTag agency reports.

Azeri leader expressed hope the Georgian FM’s visit to Azerbaijan will be fruitful and successful. Stressing Azerbaijan and Georgia cooperate closely in all directions, Aliyev expressed confidence the cooperation will continue in future.

The Georgian Foreign Minister stressed the importance of discussions with Azerbaijani President on the development of bilateral ties, particularly the cooperation in international agencies, as well as urgent issues, regarding territorial integrity of the two states, the agency reports.

Aliyev emphasized significance of regular consultations to expand further cooperation.
