YEREVAN. – The two passenger planes, which were en route to Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan from the Russian cities of Mineralnye Vody and Rostov-on-Don on December 20, have safely landed at Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport.
Armenian government-affiliated General Department of Civil Aviation Press Secretary Ruben Grdzelyan told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.
He noted that the aircraft arriving from Rostov-on-Don had landed at Zvartnots on the same day and after refueling, whereas the plane coming from Mineralnye Vody had landed in Yerevan on Sunday.
Grdzelyan added that despite the current cloudy weather, Zvartnots International Airport operates in normal fashion.
Due to adverse weather conditions, the abovementioned passenger planes could not land in Yerevan in the early morning hours on December 20.
