STEPANAKERT. – The vanguard divisions of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army have taken retaliatory actions, on Saturday at around between 1pm and 2pm, to ensure the safety of the NKR.

As a result, two military positions and one passenger vehicle of the adversary were rendered non-operational in the eastern direction of the Line of Contact.

At least two soldiers of the adversary were hit in the same direction, but in another sector, the NKR MOD press service informed.

The Defense Army divisions continue to confidently control the entire frontlines.

The Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army's actions came in response to Azerbaijan's mortar shelling.
