RA Ambassador to Sri Lanka Ara Hakobyan presented his credentials to President of Sri Lanka Mahinda Rajapaksa. The press service of the RA foreign office informed NEWS.am that following the July 28 ceremony the sides discussed bilateral relations. Ambassador Hakobyan pointed out that peace and stability, which followed decades of a conflict, create favorable conditions for further bilateral cooperation.

Ambassador Hakobyan also held meetings with the country’s ministers, other government officials and businessmen. The sides discussed trade, economic, education, scientific and business issues.
