Armenian Defense Ministry published the names of victims in July 28 armed conflict in one of the Armenian military units. Senior Lieutenant Vardges Tatevosyan (Yerevan), conscript soldiers Garegin Hovsepyan (Etchmiatzin), Andranik Sargsyan (Yerevan), Robert Hovhannisyan (Vanadzor), Artyom Minasyan (Charentsavan) and Karo Ayvazyan (Yerevan) were killed in an incident.
Adequate measures are taken to clarify the details of the incident, the press service of the ministry informed NEWS.am.

As NEWS.am reported previously, the coordinator of the Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Vanadzor Office Arthur Sakunts said, Karo Ayvazyan, a resident of Yerevan, had fired at his colleagues. It is clear he lived in U.S. for some time and according to some data was in prison and deported. The officers caught soldiers sleeping on watch. They waked them up and started humiliating them.

As a result, Ayvazyan took the gun and started firing. Thereafter he shot himself.
