Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein called to rethink Israel's stance on the Armenian Genocide.
“History cannot be changed. The disaster can't be obscured by diplomacy anymore,” he said during his speech on Tuesday.
Edelstein called Israel's position on the Armenian Genocide “too hesitant and too restrained,” the Jerusalem Post reported.
“Ss the Jewish people, we cannot stay silent. We cannot turn a blind eye or lessen the extent of the Armenian tragedy,” he emphasized.
