7.3% inflation was registered in Armenia in the 1st half of 2010 as compared with the corresponding period last year. The CIS Interstate Statistical Committee reports that 7% annual inflation was registered in the CIS in the 1st half of 2010 as compared with the 1st half 2009. During the period under review, 6.6% inflation was registered in Russia.

The highest inflation, 9.8%, was registered in Ukraine, and the lowest, 2.9%, in Kyrgyzstan. 7.1% inflation was registered in Kazakhstan, 6.6% in Belarus, 5.3% in Tajikistan, 6.9% in Moldova, 4.9% in Azerbaijan. No information on Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan is available.

This June, zero inflation was registered as compared with this May. The highest monthly inflation, 0.6%, was registered in Tajikistan. Deflation was registered in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, and Ukraine this June.
