Colonel General Najmaddin Sadigov, First Deputy Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan Defense and Chief of General Staff of Azerbaijani Armed Forces left Monday on a working visit to Russia, Interfax reports, citing Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry Press Service. 

Within the framework of his visit, Sadigov aims to attend the session of CIS Chiefs of Staff Committee, comprising chiefs of the staffs of the CIS member states’ armed forces. The session will be held on Wednesday in Sochi.  

During the session, Azerbaijani Deputy Minister will discuss with the delegation heads of other countries cooperation issues related to the sphere of defense.
