YEREVAN. – A 1.3-magnitude earthquake occurred in Armenia on Friday at 4:53am local time, informed the “Survey for Seismic Protection” Agency of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia.

The tremor measured magnitude 2 at the epicenter, and its hypocenter was 10 km beneath the surface.

The seismic activity was felt in capital city Yerevan, too.
