Alberd Ter-Sargsian, accused of the killing of an Armenian woman, was also charged on Tuesday with murdering of her husband and daughter, as well as an attack on a prostitute, Los Angeles Times reported.

As NEWS.am reported earlier, 38-aged Karine Hakobyan was found dead on March 26 in Little Armenia district of Hollywood. Earlier, her husband Khachik Safaryan and her 9-aged daughter had been killed as well.

The detectives involved in the case told Los Angeles Times that Ter-Sargsian and his wife were close friends of Safaryan-Hakobyan family. The criminal was in love with Karine and tried to drive the couple apart. However, Hakobyan remained in the marriage. Her husband received an anonymous threat urging him to leave the country as soon as possible. Within the days after threats were receives, Khachik Safaryan and his daughter were found dead.

The detectives consider that Karine’s refusal to have relationship with Ter-Sargsian urged him to kill the woman as well.
