The Prime Minister of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR; Artsakh), Arayik Harutyunyan, on Friday visited NKR’s Askeran and Martakert Regions to get familiarized with the course of local harvest gathering and economic programs.

The NKR PM first visited the Askeran collection point, where barley harvest accepted these days. Harutyunyan also traveled to the fields of this region and expressed satisfaction with the harvest and the fire prevention measures.

Next, Artsakh’s premier paid visits to the fields of Martakert’s Mataghis and Talish border villages where, in addition to harvesting winter crops, active efforts are made to cultivate spring crops.

Subsequently, Arayik Harutyunyan visited the fish farm being built in Mataghis for black caviar production, and where the first batch of small fish already has been put out. The fish farm officials stated that in around three years, the enterprise will start to export large amounts of fish, and in five years—black caviar.
