A group of 11 Armenians climbed Mt. Ararat and reached the summit on July 15.  Team “Ararat 11”, as they call themselves, includes representatives of the Armenian Diaspora from Southern California, New Jersey, Canada and Fresno, Asbarez writes.

On the third day of their journey, the team reached the summit of Mt. Ararat and erected the flags of Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. “Each of the individuals in team “Ararat 11” had a different reason for taking on this mission. For many of the team members, they wanted to satisfy their dream that Ararat was once theirs,” the article reads.
