YEREVAN. - All the citizens detained in Baghramyan Avenue during protest over electricity price hike on Monday have been released. There are no detainees at the moment, Yerevan Deputy Chief of Police Valery Osipyan said, addressing to the thousands of protestors gathered in Baghramyan Avenue for already the second day.

According to Osipyan, the news spread among the protestors that several people still remain detained is false, being provocative in nature. Moreover, Osipyan said the detainees are not being criminally prosecuted.

He once again said that there are provocateurs among the protestors, who are throwing stones in the direction of the police officers. But the protestors say these are the provocateurs of the police.
