Awareness action against electricity price hike in Armenia’s Gyumri city has ended. The protestors are now in Gyumri’s Theatre Square. The number of sit-in participants has increased several times, as reported by Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent. Many of the protestors have come to the Theatre Square with blankets.

“We’re going to stage a peaceful sit-in and spend the night singing and dancing. We join and support our friends staging sit-in in Yerevan’s Baghramyan Avenue. We are with them and together we are struggling against electricity price hike,” the ‘No to Plunder’ initiative member Karen Petrosyan said.

Parallel with protests and sit-in staged in Yerevan, demonstrations have also been launched in Gyumri.
