As NEWS.am reported earlier, Armenia 2010 exercise will be conducted in Kotayk region of Armenia on September 11-17. Speaking during the OSCE Informal Ministerial in Almaty, Turkish FM Ahmet Davutoglu stated that the country does not intend to open the border.
Despite Ankara’s official stance, press wrote about possible opening of the Armenian-Turkish border for NATO maneuvers. In particular CNNTurk reported that the Igdir Governor ordered road conditions to be examined along the Armenian-Turkish border.
