The International Space Station crew in Russia has traveled to Baikonur, Kazakhstan, reported Interfax news agency.
Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko as well as National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) astronauts Kjell Lindgren and Kimiya Yui are set to travel to the International Space Station.
Earlier it was reported that the trio said they were Star Wars fans and had chosen the R2-D2 robot, a key character in the film series, as the mascot for their expedition.
