On August 11, Kobuleti-Yerevan bus of NED tour company went off the road near the Armenian-Georgian border, the passengers told NEWS.am.

According to them, the company neither provided assistance to the passengers, nor sent an additional bus. The Armenian tourists had to spend night in the open. Several tourists returned to Armenia by taxi.

According to preliminary information, the incident was caused by a driver who slept at the wheel.  The incident occurred near an Azerbaijani-populated village. No fatalities were reported.
