STEPANAKERT. - Cleaving to its destructive stance and continuing to violate the ceasefire all along the contact line between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani side today disseminated another misinformation, the statement of Karabakh Defense Ministry press service reads.

“Particularly, the Prime Minister of that country accused the Armenian side of bombarding the peaceful settlements, announcing that the territories which are inaccessible for rifle weapons will be subjected to fire from larger-scale weapons.

The Defense Ministry of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) informs that the Armenian side is never takes preemptive actions during ceasefire. To prove this, the Karabakh side expresses its readiness to carry out an observation on the ground with the participation of the international observers to find out the actual truth. As to the announcement of the Azerbaijani Prime Minister on opening fire on Armenian settlements and military objects from large-scale weapons, Artsakh Defense Ministry command assures that in case of such developments, the response will be inadequate and fraught with irreversible losses.    

At the same time, the NKR Defense Ministry informs that the whole responsibility for the tension created in the front line will be born by the Azerbaijani side,” the statement reads.
