Armenia’s Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations received an alert today at 17.48 on a car crash which took place in the underground crossing of Tairov Village in Armenia’s Armavir province.

National Crisis Development Centre operative group and rescue squadrons left for the site of accident.

As it turned out, Mercedes C240 had skidded off the road and ploughed into a stone dam. Consequently, the driver was left enclosed in the car.

Passenger L.M, 18, was brought out of the car and taken to hospital before the rescuers reached the site. According to the doctors, his condition is moderately severe.

The rescuers released the driver G.A., 17, who was taken to Erebuni Medical Centre. The latter’s condition is critical, doctors say.
