YEREVAN. – Orange company is in talks with Ucom company on selling the shares of its mobile subsidiary Orange Armenia.

The reports were confirmed by Orange Armenia Director General Francis Gelibter during a media conference on Wednesday.

“Orange Armenia continues preserving its license and providing services to nearly 600,000 clients. Talks with Ucom do not concern leaving the Armenian market, but just changing a shareholder,” he said, adding that the sides have to sign an agreement and the deal has to be approved by the government.

Orange Armenia Director General assured that, according to the agreement, Orange brand will be preserved in Armenia for upcoming 12 months.
