YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia received information on Wednesday at 10:27pm.

Accordingly, a traffic accident had occurred on the M1 Highway, and rescuers were needed.

A fire and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.

It was found out that a truck had gone off road and tilted on one side at the Ashtarak-Yerevan section of the aforesaid highway.

Prior to the fire and rescue workers’ arrival at the scene, however, driver M. M., 57, and passenger S. P., 24, were removed from the truck by local efforts.

They were taken to hospital, where physicians said the patients are in satisfactory condition.
