YEREVAN. – The Prime Minister of Armenia, Hovik Abrahamyan, received a delegation from the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE).

The meeting focused on the development of Information Technology (IT) sector, and promotion of innovative ideas.

A particular reference was made to the technological modernization of Armenia’s educational system, high-quality personnel training, and international cooperation and investment.

The Premier noted that the IT sector has always been a priority for the Armenian government, and said the latter stands ready to support the development and implementation of any reasonable respective proposal.
