The Russian-Armenian relations are the most successful and effective in the post-Soviet area, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said in an interview with Russia 24 TV channel.

The assertions that Armenia and Russia have relations of strategic allies are not mere words. Commenting on the Karabkah peace process, the Armenian FM stated that the last variant of Madrid document was presented to the sides during Sargsyan-Medvedev-Aliyev meeting in Saint Petersburg. “Yerevan is ready to continue talks based on this document,” Nalbandian noted.

Edward Nalbandian highly assessed Russia’s efforts as OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing state. “Russia’s mediatory efforts got full support of the other co-chairs, U.S. and France,” he added.
