YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 478.60 $1 in Armenia on Monday, a 0.31 point rise as compared to yesterday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 523.59 (up by AMD 1.25), that of one British pound was AMD 739.92 (down by AMD 2.29), the rate of one Russian ruble comprising AMD 7.43 (down by AMD 0.02), according to the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 226.96, AMD 16,826.06 (approx. $35,16), and AMD 14.556.43, respectively.

10 foreign currency transactions worth a total of $2 million 750 thousand at 479,25 AMD exchange rate were registered at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Monday.
