Iran is planning to hold an exports exhibition in the Armenian capital city of Yerevan, said a statement released by Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA).
Slated to be held at Yerevan Expo Eventer on October 8-11, this will be Iran's 17th joint exports exhibition with neighboring Armenia which is being held parallel with Armenia’s Panarmenian Expo 2015, FARS agency reported quoting the statement which was released on Tuesday
Iran-Armenia Joint Chamber of Commerce has sponsored the exhibit.
The expo is seen as an opportunity by Iranian industrial and production units for securing long-term presence in Armenia’s markets and the markets of other member countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States, in addition to Russia, noted the statement.
Last year’s exhibition was attended by 40 Iranian producers and exporters.
