YEREVAN. - U.S. government condemns the violence on the border, U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Richard Mills said at the opening of America on the Road Tour 2015 program, referring to the recent tension on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Aravot.am reports.

According to him, the violence along the line of contact is definitely disturbing for the U.S. Government, and pursuant to their responsibilities they accordingly pass the information to Washington.

Mills also said they are aware of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair Warlick’s statement made yesterday regarding that violence. He precisely said that that the U.S. Government condemns any violence on the border, since it contributes neither to the establishment of peace, nor to the negotiation process and has thus to be stopped.
