YEREVAN. - In 2015, Yerevan Brandy Factory will retain the prices on grape procurement on the same level as in 2014, factory CEO Igor Arakelyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am today.

This year the factory plans to procure 35,000 tones of grape, for which the company has earmarked over 5 billion AMD ($10,3 million).

The procurement, which has kicked off today in Armenia’s Armavir city factory branch (Armavir province), will also be carried out in Aygavan village (Ararat province) tomorrow, as well as in Berd town (Tavush province) on September 14.

1 kg of grape is received for 150 AMD by Armavir and Aygavan branches, and for 140 AMD in the town of Berd. The amount for the lent harvest is paid within 3-4 days.  

Yerevan Brandy Factory is one of the largest exporters and taxpayers in Armenia.
