The border has been very tense over the last two weeks, Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan said at the meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
Sargsyan also said he is going to tell in detail about the exacerbation of the situation round the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict at the CSTO summit in Dushanbe.
“I’d like to thank Russia and you for your efforts in the search for ways of Karabakh conflict settlement. The border has been very tense over the last two weeks; besides large-scale weapons, the Azerbaijani side is using artillery. Of course, we have to respond. I’ll tell about this in detail at the CSTO summit in Dushnabe,” he said.
The CSTO summit will be held in Dushnabe on September 15.
