Aram I, head of the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia, met with the spiritual representative and not the royal family of Saudi Arabia, Cilicia Catholicosate representative told Armenian News – NEWS.am.

It was also informed that the meeting was held in the framework of an interreligious conference. “Issues on the events in the Middle East, extremism and co-existence of Christians and Muslims were discussed,” the Catholicosate representative said.  

Armenia and Saudi Arabia have no diplomatic ties.
