YEREVAN. - Prices for consumer goods in Armenia have decreased by 0,1% in August 2015 as compared to July, as reported by Armenia’s National Statistical Service. The price fall constituted 2,1% as compared to December 2014.

Specifically, the price for food products has gone up by 0.3% (cheaper by 7% as compared to December 2014), that of alcohol and tobacco going down by 0,1% (0,7% as compared to December 2014). The prices for clothes and shoes have remained at the same level (they have become cheaper by 0,3% as compared to December 2014).  

Prices for medicines and health services have gone up by 0,2% (7,9% as compared to December 2014).
