Moscow is a responsible participant of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict normalization process and will thus do its best to draw the outcome of the issue closer, Russia’s FM Maria Zakharova said today during a briefing in the framework of the 70th meeting of the UN General Assembly, responding to the question on whether Moscow expects any progress in the normalization of the Karabakh issue.
Referring to the current stage of the Russian-Azerbaijani relations, Zakharova said: “We assess our relations with Azerbaijan as dynamically developing. Azerbaijan is the partner of the Russian Federation not only in the political, but also in economic and other spheres. An active dialogue is developing between our countries at all levels, from the highest and high - at the level of FMs - to humanitarian ties. We hope the intensity level of our relations will remain and develop.”
