YEREVAN. - Tension on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border has declined during the recent days, Armenia’s Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am today.

“Subdivisions of the Armenian Armed Forces, servicemen of Nagorno-Karabakh Army advanced forces know their tasks and implement them properly. We can be calm: the Armed Forces ensure our safety,” the Minister said.

The Ministry of Defense is preparing for the war every day, but according to the assessment of the military and political situation, it has concluded that there’s no point in initiating large-scale military actions now.
